Location

Thanks to the generosity of W.B. Dixon Stroud, Jr., the Brandywine Polo Academy bases its games and practices at the arena of the Brandywine Polo Club.

The grounds are northwest of Wilmington, Delaware, about twenty-five miles southwest of Philadelphia, and fifty miles north of Baltimore. Take Route 1 to the Toughkenamon exit (south of Kennett Square). Follow Newark Road south to Polo Road (about a quarter of a mile), then turn right at the sign. During the summer, adult outdoor games are held on Sunday afternoons at 3, and are open to the public. Come to the arena to watch us play, then have a tailgate party later and enjoy some high-goal polo.
