Our interscholastic girls' team plays JV games against
Garrison Forest School, Valley Forge Military Academy, Philadelphia's Work
To Ride, and several university sponsored high school teams. Their team name
in Spanish means "the wild ones"; in Argentina the term is used for spirited
polo mares. All of the the girls are expert riders, trained in various
equine sports including hunters, jumpers, and eventing.
La
Galleguita
The boys' team plays varsity games against the same schools as the girls'
team. They chose the name La Galleguita as it was the name of a team member's
family farm in Argentina.This powerful and experienced group of players hopes to
make the interscholastic finals held this April at University of Virginia.
