Instructors
Scott W. Brown-Chief Instructor.
Scott has played polo all of his life. He was a member of the University
of Connecticut polo team in the 1970's. Since college he has played across the
United States, England and Germany and now bases his team, Livin' the Vision, at
the Brandywine Polo Club. He is a member of both the Brandywine and Aiken Polo
Clubs. He is rated 1 goal outdoors
and in the arena.
A student of the game, Scott has taught polo
for the last twelve years and has developed the current curriculum and course
offering of BPA.
Pablo Avalos-Instructor.
Pablo is a native of Argentina.
Pablo has played professionally in the US for the last 8 years competing
at the Villages Polo Club, Aiken and playing at Brandywine in the summer.
An excellent horseman Pablo is rated at 4 goals outdoors and in the
arena.
Martha Brown-Instructor.
Martha started playing polo at 11 years of age.
She played collegiate polo at the University of Connecticut where she
graduated with a degree in Athletic Training. Martha
is a one goal player outdoors and in the arena.
Martha coaches BPA’s women’s interscholastic varsity and JV teams.
