Polo Clinics
New this
year at Brandywine Polo Academy will be a series of polo clinic designed for
interscholastic players and adults.
Adult
clinics last three days from Friday-Sunday afternoon and are designed to give
players a total immersion into polo.
These clinics are designed for adult players new to polo.
Interscholastic clinics last 4 days and run from Monday AM through Thursday
afternoon. One of these clinics is
designed for interscholastic players new to polo and the other two are designed
to significantly improve the skills of existing players.

Adult Polo Clinics
The
three day Introduction to Polo Clinics are designed to give the participant a
total immersion into polo. Clinics
run from 10 am on Friday through Sunday afternoon ending with a tailgate
graduation party field side at the 3pm outdoor Brandywine match.
Participants will ride and play for 3-4 hours per day and be schooled in
polo equitation, hitting techniques, rules and game strategy.
In addition, participants will be introduced to the polo lifestyle with
an Argentine assado and wine tasting Saturday night.
Tasteful local accommodation is available.
There are numerous non-polo activities available in the Brandywine Valley
for those who would like to bring their significant other.

Interscholastic Polo Clinics
‘Introduction to Polo’
This 4 day clinic runs from
Monday thru Thursday and is designed for interscholastic riders who are new to
polo. This clinic will be focused
on introducing the sport to new players and will cover polo equitation, hitting
technique, rules and game tactics.
Participants will work in the classroom, hitting cage and ride twice a day.
Practice games will be held the last two days of the session.
Chaperoned accommodation is available for out of town players through one
of our BPA parents.

‘Up your Rating’
This 4 day clinic runs from
Monday thru Thursday and is designed for current interscholastic players who
want to take their game to the next level.
Particular emphasis will be placed on improving your riding, perfecting
your swing technique and implementing specific tactical plays within games.
Participants will work on personal conditioning and stretching, ride
twice daily plus play a daily practice game.
Participants will also spend time in the classroom reviewing game tapes
and other materials. Chaperoned
accommodation is available for out of town players through one of our BPA
parents.
